Our 15th Anniversary – we’ve come a long way

Partners Wealth Management is delighted to announce that we’re celebrating 15 years since our launch in April 2004.

PWM has grown to be a well-respected and multi award winning City based independent financial advisory firm with a team of over 70 people, with upwards of £1.6bn of client assets under our management.

How it all started

PWM has evolved from a group of like-minded individuals who had a clear collective vision of the client service offering that they wanted to deliver in the financial services arena. James Roberts, John Sutton, Mark Waring and Tim Davies, all highly experienced financial advisory practitioners with many years of experience in advising members of the professional services community, joined together early in 2004 to launch the firm from premises at 2 Royal Exchange in the City of London.

From the outset, the founders were clear about what their business mission was to be, how they wanted to operate, and the nature of the service that they wanted to deliver for their clients. Together they sought to take considerable strides in re-shaping the advisory marketplace, providing the best financial planning services they could source for their clients from across the wider marketplace, and pledging to offer and maintain the highest-possible standards of client care and service.

As the business matured, they attracted other like-minded professionals who shared the same commitment and determination to deliver only the very best planning solutions for their own clients.

Where we are today

We’re delighted that we’re increasingly recognised as a firm for our broad-based expertise, market leading planning solutions and the exemplary client care we provide. We’re hugely proud of the many awards we’ve received along the way such as Investment Week’s Gold Standard Award in the ‘Independent Financial Advice’ category; our Top Financial Planning Companies (IFA) 2018 award (for the 9th consecutive year) bestowed by thewealthnet/Private Client Practitioner; whilst also being listed among the country’s top 100 financial advice firms by New Model Adviser.

We are also hugely proud of our charity fund raising programmes – including the adoption of the Barts Health Violence Reduction Service as our first ever charity of the year – and are hoping to make a real difference to the lives of young people affected by violent crime in London.  The charity’s efforts are geared towards counselling, educating and reintegrating those young people affected back into society – aiming to break the ongoing cycle of violence.

Looking to the future, we don’t intend to rest on our laurels; as a team we look forward to the challenges and opportunities that the years ahead will undoubtedly bring.
