As instances of fraud continue to rise, Partners Wealth Management (PWM) is committed to keeping your assets safe and secure.
There are a number of sophisticated ways in which fraudsters look to gain access to your personal, private, and financial information, varying from telephone calls, emails, text messages and clone websites. Fraudsters are constantly developing new ways to manipulate potential victims, so it is vital that you are aware of the risks and how to mitigate them. Anyone can fall victim to a fraud or financial scam but staying alert and remembering a few common warning signs will help you to protect yourself.
We will never ask you for your sensitive account information or online passwords so if you ever receive a phone call, email or text message from a supposed PWM representative, please hang-up or delete the message and contact your financial adviser immediately. Equally, we will never cold call our clients offering an investment opportunity. If you receive an unsolicited contact which seems suspicious, out of the ordinary, or too good to be true then we urge you not to respond.
If you have concerns or think that you may have revealed your personal or security information, please contact your adviser immediately. When you contact us, we will investigate your suspicions and take necessary actions to safeguard you and others.
If you suspect that you have had money stolen or misappropriated as a result of fraud you should contact your bank immediately, who may be able to stop or recover any funds, and then contact us. If you are living in the UK, you should also report your concerns to Action Fraud by calling them on 0300 123 2040, or by using their online fraud reporting tool.
