PWM Insights – November 2019 edition

Welcome to our November edition of PWM Insights. This month we celebrate winning a prestigious award from the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners, Duncan Wilson considers how the collection of inheritance tax by HMRC has risen in recent years, and the potential effect from the introduction of the additional residence nil rate band on it. We also discuss, the impact of the 2019/20 Finance Bill on capital gains tax, the crackdown on crypocurrency by the Financial Conduct Authority along with some food for thought about ‘money flipping schemes’ and an update on IR35 for freelancers.

If you have any questions regarding any of the issues raised, or if there are any particular topics that you would like us to consider in future editions, please do get in touch with your Partners Wealth Management adviser.
