Having graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, I worked for Investors, one of the most successful private hedge funds in Poland at the time. I enjoyed my time in hedge funds but realised I needed a career that would utilise not only my mathematical skills but also my passion for people and understanding the psychology of decision making. Moving to financial planning is just a perfect combination of these diverse worlds. I had a fantastic time at Bestinvest and then Tilney where I finalised my financial planning qualifications and obtained Chartered status. Working on a client’s financial plan gives me great pleasure as I know the advice we provide has a palpable influence on their future and the way they live their lives.
I am also a keen supporter of sustainability. We need to be aware of all that is around us and promote funds that have a positive impact on us and our planet. Whilst your financial health is of paramount importance to me, I feel it is a great privilege to be able to achieve this by positively influencing the world around us even if it is to a small extent.
