I first joined Partners Wealth Management in 2015 as a placement student as part of my degree course with the University of Surrey. This was a valuable experience and was the start of building solid foundations for my career.
Alongside my studies, I also gained experience at two of the ‘Big Four’ accountancy firms, blue chip banking groups, discretionary fund managers and stock brokers.
After obtaining a First in Economics and Finance and having spent some time travelling around south-east Asia, I returned to the firm in 2017 as a paraplanner for our Senior Partner, before being promoted into an advisory role.
Through being a truly independent Financial Adviser, I am able to present tailored planning solutions for all my clients’ needs. I like to use technology as part of the advice process to identify planning opportunities, allocate priorities and demonstrate how we can help clients achieve their long-term personal and financial goals. I have developed a keen knowledge of sustainable investments which I feel is an increasingly important part of a client’s portfolio given the current social, environmental and political drivers and the impact that investing can have on the world.
I believe it is vital to continue to learn and develop to best equip oneself for the ever changing financial arena and, therefore, my clients’ requirements. I am a Chartered Financial Planner and on course to achieving Fellowship status with the Personal Finance Society by the end of 2021 which is the highest qualification accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
My key areas of expertise include:
- risk management and investment portfolio construction;
- tax efficient retirement income planning; and
- estate planning and IHT mitigation.
Away from and the office, I like to travel and keep active, and can often be found playing golf, tennis or attempting to beat my rather unimpressive PB at my local Parkrun in Tunbridge Wells.
