I’ve spent over 30 years in financial services, beginning my career at City Assurance Consultants, rising through the ranks to became CEO. I led a successful management buyout of the business and this experience has given me valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities my clients face—particularly those navigating business ownership and succession planning.
I take great pride in the long-standing relationships I’ve built with my clients—many of which span decades and now extend across multiple generations. Over my many years in financial planning, I have worked through market crashes and booms; through my clients’ family dramas and their huge successes. By understanding their goals and dreams, I can guide them to make wise financial choices that help them live the life they want to live. Getting into my client’s world and being next to them at key life stages is one of my favourite parts of the job.
I live in Surrey with my wife Annabel and our three daughters. Outside of work, I enjoy long countryside walks with our working cocker spaniel Harvey, I enjoy fly fishing, field sports, and I’m proud to be a Freeman of the City of London. My wife and I recently bought a campervan that we designed from scratch and we are now spending weekends touring around Britain and discovering lots of fascinating and beautiful places on our doorstep.
