I started my career in the financial services industry in 1993, and became an independent financial adviser in 2002.
My expertise revolves around lump sum investments, constructing and monitoring client portfolios in appropriately risked environments, either as personal portfolios in ISAs, direct investments or onshore/offshore bonds, or in individual pension arrangements. I also advise on inheritance tax planning and protection for clients.
I believe that people are paramount in the financial advisory profession; the trust between client and adviser is crucial. Delivering appropriate, clear advice at a fair, transparent cost helps to build this trust, leading to long-term business relationships and positive outcomes for our clients and our business alike.
Outside of work, I have enjoyed playing a wide variety of sports over the years. However, middle-age appeared out of nowhere so a bit of golf, hiking, cycling and general exercise is about as far as the activity gets these days. Travel and spending time with my family are also very important to me.
