My route to becoming a financial planner has been rather different to most. After university, I attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served as an army officer for nine years, before leaving and spending two years as a management consultant in the chemical and energy sectors, working on projects across Europe and the Middle East. It was during this time whilst reading about personal finance for my own benefit, that I realised how much value proactive financial planning can make to one’s life. Rather than optimising businesses, I decided to switch careers to help individuals optimise their finances.
Being a truly independent financial planner is important to me so that I can recommend the very best tailored solution for my clients from across the whole market. I work with legal and accountancy professionals, entrepreneurs, and high-net-wealth individuals who value the way in which I can simplify financial jargon, save them time, and help build a plan that provides direction toward their future goals and financial freedom. Typically, this might include retirement planning, tax optimisation, lifetime wealth modelling and estate planning. Everyone is unique, and each of my clients has their own personal objectives, aspirations and concerns that require a tailored approach on their journey to achieving financial freedom; the point at which work becomes optional.
In addition to the independence and flexibility of our investment offering at Partners Wealth Management, we have access to a broad suite of support and resources. Our Private Office can assist in every area of your financial need, including mortgages, cash management, and foreign exchange.
I live near Farnham with my wife and two children. Outside of work, I love keeping active outdoors, whether it’s out running, watching rugby, or a weekend with the family in the campervan.
