I began my career in the Army, where I learned the importance of discipline, teamwork and self-sufficiency. When I left the forces, I moved into financial services. I started at TSB Life & Trust and later joined the Woolwich Building Society. While there, I was involved in launching flexible mortgages to the UK market.
For the past five years, I’ve worked in the independent advice sector. I was drawn in by the chance to put high quality, client focused advice at the centre of everything we do. During this time, I’ve led advisory teams, shared best practice across businesses and helped embed the Consumer Duty framework in line with FCA expectations.
At PWM Midlands, my role is to support our advisers as the business grows. I focus on making sure they have the right support, that client journeys keep improving, and that we make good use of the wider group infrastructure. This helps advisers spend more time where it matters most – working with clients and building trusted relationships.
Alongside supporting the current team, I’m passionate about developing the next generation of advisers. Building on the great work already in place, I champion internal progression. We want to help talented people develop their careers, which will in turn strengthen the business for the future.
