Anthony Shields

Partner

Having spent over 30 years in the financial services industry, I have developed a specialisation in working with individuals and families to achieve their financial aims and objectives. Working with my clients over a long period of time I have seen these objectives change and evolve over time as their lives develop and their investments are used to fund different points in their lives.

At the heart of my approach to providing financial advice are several core elements which include:

  • ensuring that the advice and strategy are regularly reviewed, for example, by using cash flow modelling to evolve the strategy in line with my clients’ circumstances and priorities,
  • making sure my clients are comfortable with the financial strategies I recommend, and I value taking the time to ensure that these solutions are understood, and
  • following tax efficient strategies which dovetail into each clients’ unique aims and objectives.

I always have and continue to take the approach that my client lies at the centre of the service I provide, and this is very much in line with Partners Wealth Management’s ethos. Due to the investment independence and innovation offered by the firm, I can continue to offer my clients truly independent financial advice and provide them with innovative and cost-effective tailored solutions from a range of providers.

Outside of my working life, I live on the edge of Ashdown Forest in East Sussex with my wife and two children. I am also a school governor, and my interests range from home improvement and garden projects, walking and the countryside and supporting my son’s interest in football.
