At PWM, we take a considered and responsible approach to how we operate – for our clients, our people and the communities we’re part of.

This means acting with integrity, taking a long-term view and ensuring our decisions are aligned with the best interests of our clients.

Sustainability is an increasingly important part of that broader responsibility. As expectations evolve, it is becoming a natural extension of how investors think about risk, opportunity and long-term value.

The market has grown significantly, bringing greater choice and complexity. Our role is to help clients navigate this landscape, understanding their individual priorities. Through this and our partnership with Asset Risk Consultants, we’ve developed the PWM Green Matrix – bringing clarity to sustainable investing decisions.

PWM gives back

Supporting charitable causes has long been part of PWM and over the years we have supported a range of national and local charities through fundraising, donations and collective effort.

Our initiatives

Payroll giving

We have a payroll giving system that allows our team to support charitable causes they care about, in a tax efficient way.

Matched funding

PWM pledges to match donations for any fundraising carried out by our team, up to £500 per application.

Volunteering opportunities

Volunteering leave is available for every member of the PWM team to support a charity of their choice.

Our charity programme

Our people are actively involved in a wide range of charitable activity. Alongside fundraising, there is a strong sense of shared purpose in supporting causes that make a meaningful difference.

This has included endurance challenges, community projects and local initiatives – from long-distance fundraising events to hands-on volunteering.

As part of the 7IM Group, we also support the ‘7IM Gives Back’ programme, which focuses on addressing inequality at both a national and local level. The Group matches fundraising efforts up to £500 per fundraiser.

We will continue to build on this, expanding opportunities for our team to contribute and supporting charities that reflect the interests and values of our people.

Charities PWM are supporting this year

Rowan Alba (Edinburgh)

Rowan Alba supports people affected by homelessness in Scotland, helping individuals find stability through housing and long-term support. Its work focuses on addressing the underlying causes of homelessness and supporting people to rebuild their lives.

Lullaby Trust (London)

The Lullaby Trust provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and supports families affected by sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Through research, education and support, it plays an important role in protecting young lives and supporting those who have experienced loss.
