Fiona Oliver

Managing Partner

Great partnerships are often the bedrock of successful business. Here at PWM we believe that mutually rewarding long term relationships should be at the heart of everything we do. Whether that be our relationships with our long-standing clients, engaging new clients or indeed our partnerships with solicitors and accountants and other professional practices.

Having graduated with a degree in Japanese Studies, I have been fortunate enough to have worked in two different but complementary business spheres. I had the privilege of spending 12 years in international corporate sales for a handful of blue chip firms, including Reuters and Siemens, doing business in Europe and Japan. Working with clients in different countries, in a variety of languages with varied cultural interplay was consistently challenging but rewarding.

Thereafter, I decided to turn my hand to a private client focus, and retrained as a Chartered Financial Planner in London working for Towry. I built up a varied portfolio of clients including entrepreneurs and city professionals, where my focus was to help them achieve their life goals by bringing clarity and focus to their financial affairs. I then became Head of Practice of the Surrey office, where, working with a team of advisers, we created a successful branch by building and enhancing partnerships with many clients and local professional counterparts.

At the beginning of 2024, I was delighted to be appointed Managing Partner. My ambitions are aligned with those of the firm, where trust and client focus are paramount.

Outside of work, I enjoy a busy family life in Twickenham with my husband and two boys, often spending my weekends on the side of the football pitch, or running or cycling by the Thames. When time permits, we love to travel, having most recently introduced the boys to the peculiarities of Japan!
